Abstract: Based on the sedimentary microfactes and bioecologic analysis of the Qixia formation of three sections in studied area, this paper summaries the depositional rhythms, cycles and sedimentary environment of the Qixia formation, and further analyses the characteristics of its sedimentary evolution. The results suggest that the Qixia formation was formed in a subtidal, low energy, open and non-barrier carbonate ramp belt.
