Four cheniers exist in the northern coastal plain of Jiangsu Province,name-ly the Nest Ridge，the Middle Ridge，the East Ridge and tile dew Ridge in orde from west to east.They run nearly parallel to the present shoreline.The chiea depositional features of the cheniers are as follows.
