Abstract: Fluvial facies stratum is one of important reservoirs in Meso-Cenozoic continental basin in China. Sequence stratigraphy conventional sequence stratigraphy interpretation techniques based on seismic stratigraphy in passive continental margin is generally considered difficult to be applied to fluvial facies due to the sequence complexity and multiple mixed facies. The paper studies sequence architecture of fluvial strata by using high-resolution sequence stratigraphy based on base-level cycle recognition. Geological-seismic response models of fluvial reservoirs have been established, which are also illustrated by an example in Guantao Formation, Upper Tertiary, Offshore area in Shengli Oilfield.
